Wang, Prof. Junjie Yao, Prof. JinHo Chang, Prof. Chulhong Kim, Prof. Aydogan Ozcan, Prof. Lingyan Shi, Prof. SangHyun Oh, and Prof. Filiz Yesilkoy, whose outstanding contributions and insights made this symposium a great success.

Prof. Kim (Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering at the Gwangju
Institute of Science and Technology (GIST)) delivered a seminar on emerging strategies for the early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The talk highlighted the potential of fNIRS for non-invasive monitoring of cortical hemodynamics, along with neuromodulation approaches such as near-infrared photobiomodulation and low-intensity focused ultrasound.
